The contract will commence in June 2027 and has a firm duration of 6 years. In addition, Siemens Energy has the option to extend the contract by up to another 4 years.

Macro Offshore has committed the accommodation jack-up Crossway Eagle for the projects.

Crossway Eagle is one of the most environmentally friendly accommodation rigs in the North Sea and has a 200 Ton crane mounted on a cantilever making the vessel optimal for supporting lighter construction activities.

The rig is currently being prepared for mobilization to Equinor’s Empire Wind project offshore New York. As such the contract with Siemens Energy is the second contract Macro Offshore wins in the offshore wind market.

Following a strategic review process, Macro Offshore decided to increase its focus on the offshore wind market, recognizing the wind market is a sustainable market which is likely to demand high quality assets as the projects move further offshore and into deeper waters.

Macro Offshore is proud to become a trusted partner of Siemens Energy in their efforts to provide sustainable energy solutions.

Macro Offshore is a fully integrated owner and operator of accommodation vessels. The company owns and operates Crossway Eagle and operates Haven which is currently serving the Draupner platform on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The company is headquartered in Sandnes, Norway.
